NVR web interface - Search and Backup

Here you can perform extensive searches and create backups of important recordings.

  • By Event
  • By Time
  • Image Management
  • Backup Status

By Event

The left column contains all your search criteria; the right side displays all recordings that fulfill the criteria.

At the top, select or deselect the types of events you wish to search for. Click the icon to switch between the Ordinary and AI menus. You cannot search for events from both menus; you must choose one or the other.

Ordinary events menu:

  • Manually recorded

  • Sensor or alarm events

  • AI analysis (comprises both regular motion and AI motion)

  • Motion activity

  • POS events

  • Scheduled sessions

AI events menu:

  • Ordinary events (continuous and/or normal motion events)

  • Line crossing events

  • Intrusion events

  • Exception detection

Click the calendar text boxes to open the calendar tool. Here you select the dates for the start and stop times.

Click the year at the top to pick the year, and click the month numeral to set a new month. Alternatively, click the double arrows at the side to change the year and the single arrows to change the month.

Select the day in the calendar area.

At the bottom, use the arrows to adjust the time, or click in the text are and enter the time directly.

Once the start and stop times are set, select the cameras to use in the search, then click the Search button.

After the list populates, you can click the Play icon in each file's entry to view it in the playback window. Use the checkboxes to select the files you want to archive and click Backup in the lower right corner of the window. This takes you to the By Event. Do not leave the Search and Backup page until downloading is complete or you will lose your work.

By Time

This tab does not display a list of recordings. It's most useful when you know the time span you want to review.

Image Management

This lists all images from motion detection.

  1. Checkboxes to select or deselect images.

  2. Image data

  3. Opens the image browsing window, which lets you view all images.

  4. Exports the image (and any others also selected). Multiple images are exported as a zip file.

  5. Deletes the image (and any others also selected). Multiple images are exported as a zip file.

The image browsing window

  1. Export the image.

  2. Go to previous image.

  3. Start/stop a slideshow of all images.

  4. Go to next image.

  5. Delete this image.

Backup Status

Here you can view the status of your download tasks, pause and resume tasks as need, or delete to cancel those tasks.

Do not leave the Search and Backup page until downloading is complete or you will lose your work.
